This residential remodel and addition of a 5,100 square foot lakeview home in Incline Village includes a dining room and breakfast nook addition as well as creating a new mudroom entry from garage. A new entry addition provides a new and welcoming look from the street. The project also provided a complete remodel of the main floor with a new kitchen, remodeled living area, master suite and master bath. Other project elements include a new workshop area, guest bedroom, garage addition and lakeview deck addition.

His plan opened up what had previously been a claustrophobic low ceiling home from the 60’s to a contemporary design with open views out to Lake Tahoe – a view we weren’t even completely aware we had! Throughout the construction process Jim was there to make certain that the house that was being built was consistent with the design. When the inevitable construction realities required real time design changes, Jim was there to advise on what work arounds were feasible and what design alternatives could be implemented.”

South Lake Tahoe, California

This 4,709 square foot residential remodel and addition project in South Lake Tahoe was quite comprehensive, resulting in an extensive remodel of both levels. The kitchen was opened up to the dining area and the entire lower floor was remodeled, adding a new mudroom and a powder room. The upper floor remodel includes a new master bedroom suite design, a new TV room for the kids and a reworking of the guest bedrooms. Extensive new decking was added and all interior and exterior finish materials were updated.

This Incline Village major remodel addition project resulted in a remarkable transformation of the existing 1,900 square foot, single-story residence. The 1,064 square foot addition consists of additions of a new entry and guest quarters wing as well as additions to enhance the master bedroom, kitchen and dining areas and a large covered, private patio area. The entire interior was upgraded with a brand new state of the art kitchen, a “spa like” master bath and extensive custom cabinetry throughout. Exterior improvements include new rustic cedar siding throughout, “mountain modern” style, heavy timber architectural detailing and native stone columns and wainscots. The final product is a great example of what can be accomplished with a succinct, well managed project program coupled with highly involved, dedicated clients.

The remodel of this 2,974 square foot residence in Incline Village includes a new kitchen and an open concept for the living/dining/kitchen area. Two new bathrooms were added upstairs, resulting in 3 guest bedroom suites with baths and a new master bath was also provided. A new deck was added to the front of the house as well as all new low maintenance exterior finishes such as fiber cement shingles and native stonework.
