During this time of the year our family at Borelli Architecture looks forward to the magic that comes with the season of frosty white snowfalls, Christmas carols, and warm and wonderful holiday memories. And it is also times like this that we make a special effort to share the season with those less fortunate.
While researching ways to donate to non-profits this year, we found an organization called “Treehouse” based in Washington state that collects donations to “Make Holidays Brighter” for children and youth in foster care.
Intrigued by the idea, we researched closer to home for ways that all of us can make a difference this Christmas season for children and youth in our own communities in North Lake Tahoe, Truckee and the Reno/Carson City regions.
