How cool is that? Every day I seem to turn-around and hear more good news about the region in which we live, and this past week was no exception.
Several local news outlets spread the word that “Matador Network” has selected Truckee as “The coolest ski town in America.” The Borelli team agrees in full – and we’ve thought that for many years.
We’ve been very fortunate to see the region grow into what has become one fine resort destination that is a year-round paradise for those who choose to build a residential mountain home or luxurious estate to share with generations to come. From Martis Camp to Northstar and stunning lakefront estates, there are beautiful homes being built for families to enjoy all that comes with living in and around this ‘cool’ place.
As noted in the Network’s announcement:
“With numerous mountain resorts only a short drive away, and the town’s place in the history of skiing and snowboarding, Matador Network described Truckee as, ‘rad because it sits in the middle of more ski areas than anywhere else in the West, and yet has none of the glitz of places like Aspen or Jackson.’”
